Tangra Masala heads east.....

I know this belongs on the tri-state board, but it is so close to the city line......
Tangra Masala is in New Hyde Park on Hillside Avenue, just east of Herricks Road. They opened Christmas Day. It is owned by at least one of the owners from the original on Grand Ave. in Maspeth. We haven't yet made it to the original, so I can't compare, but we had a wonderful meal there last night. Lollipop chicken, vegetarian rolls, beef in spicy black bean sauce, Mongolian gobi, and vegetables tangra masala with pan-fried noodles.

It's great that there is real food moving closer to the 'burbs.
