Tamil Chetynadu (sp?)

A little over a month ago I noticed that this tiny, narrow restaurant on "Curry Hill" appeared to have been closed by the board of health. The storefront was covered with some yellow health inspection notices about the closing. The restaurant seems to have added their own yellow leaflet signs saying "closed for renovations." (g)

I had one meal last summer at Tamil Chetynadu during a brief but intense break from my habbitual vegetarianism (the South Indian cuisine it is named for is well-known as being meat-based). The same people own the vegetarian place next door (both are on Lexington Avenue in the twenties), which is one of my favorites. They still seem to be doing well. Until about a year ago, the vegetarian was in the location that Tamil Chetynadu occupied, but they moved to the larger location next door.

Does anyone have information about the reason for the closing and/or the possibility of their reopening for business?

Thanks.
