anyone ever eat this exotic fish? i saw it offered on the menu of a cleveland brazilian restaurant (SERGIO'S in university circle).
from googling i see it's a popular amazonian fish dish where the flesh is apparently so solid they serve it cut like beef ribs. see a link below.
are tambaqui fish gaining in popularity in the usa? sounds like this could be the 'new' chilean sea bass? for that matter, are other amazonian fish gaining in popularity here? thanks for any comments.
