Takeout from Five A's Cafe in Burlingame

I somehow managed to catch a cold again (thought I just got over one, like 2 weeks ago) and didn't feel like cooking. So I sent my husband to Five A's Cafe to pick up our dinner. Here is what he brought me -

Volcano Chicken $7.58: Diced up chicken, zucchini, sweet basil and chili pepper. Very flavorful but I would request to make it hotter next time

Mapo Tofu $6.58: Tofu with a very mild chili sauce and scallion. When ordering my husband did not realize that this was no meat dish. I liked the silky texture of tofu with a mild and very light sauce, but he thought the dish was bland for his taste.

Dry Sauteed String Beans with garlic $6.58: Cooked right amount of time, string beans were firm and also flavorful with lots of garlic. It came with only 2 thin slices of jalapeno peppers. Again, we wished that this dish was spicier.

Lamb Dumpling ($5-something): I should have counted how many. You do get a lot of dumplings. My husband liked it more than I did. I thought it was way too lamby for my taste.

Total bill was $28 before tip for the above 4 dishes, which were all from English menu. We will definitely go back to try more dishes.
