I have come across a company selling Tahitian Vanilla beans in different sizes (short medium & long - approx 5.5 ; 6.3 ; 7.1 inches) I would like to use some to make vanilla extract. Does the amount of vanilla beans to vodka have to change because of the size of the bean? Any advice?
According to the company selling them, the beans are from Tahiti and not grown elsewhere called Tahitian Vanilla.
Also read that 2 beans into 375ml of vodka?
