The restaurant with many names, and at least two menus. A group of us visited the new Szechwan House (AKA "Szechwan Home", or "House of YuRong", or "Yu Rong Renjia"...) this weekend and found it up to other's claims -- excellent Sichaun food.
Here's some more info: the English sign and menu call the restaurant "Szechwan House". The manager at the Cupertino location, I just called, said it should be "Szechwan HOME" despite the sign and menu, like it was in the Chronicle Sunday article. And then there's the various spellings of Sichuan, and various pronunciations in Chinese dialects ... no wonder there are places that choose names like ABC Seafood.
More: The gentleman on the phone told me there are actually *5* locations -- Cupertino, San Jose, San Francisco Chinatown, Union City, Berkeley. Same owners, same menu. I plan to investigate the one in SF this week for lunch, but only after I finish digesting the chili peppers from this weekend.
Has anyone been to the other locations? Is there something special about the Cupertino one?
