I am growing sweet banana peppers, and I want to make the pickled rings like the ones you buy in a jar. The jar from the store says the ingredients are peppers, vinegar, water, salt, preservatives and yellow food coloring. Does anyone have a home recipe to make these? Ideally, I'd love to be able to just make the brine and store in the refrigerator, but if they need to processed, I can do that too. I can find recipes for sweet pickled peppers, but not the vinegar ones. Thanks for your help.
