Susina Bakery (review)

Funwithfood | Feb 26, 2005 10:19 PM

I'm glad for the recs for Susina--I've been meaning to visit them for a while. The store itself is lovely. (the "good news")

I feel so bad to report though that it was quite disappointing. The brownie, which was highly recommended by the gal who worked there, tasted like "a Starbuck's treat", overly sweet with a mundane and mass-produced flavor.

The total bill for my selections was $30, so I did sample many things. The croissants were very good.

(Sorry to be negative--just my opinion.)
