Sushikawa in Riverdale

Ate there for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. Very fresh fish, it just melted in my mouth. It came on top of a very small rice mound and there was a bit of wasabi under the fish which was a nice touch. I absolutely can't stand sushi that comes with a tiny piece of fish on a huge mound of rice. It fills you up very fast, before you even get through half the meal. Well, this place is different: the emphasis is on (very fresh) fish. My husband and I shared a Sushi for two (18 pieces sushi and 8 rolls) and it was $26.75. Very reasonable.

Sushikawa is located on Riverdale Avenue and 238th Street. I think it's open 7 days a week.
