Sushi in Chelsea, Union Square/Flatiron, or Village

Does anybody have a suggestion for a semi quiet but well attended sushi restaurant in the above mentioned locales?

The closest approximation to what I'm looking for is a Blue Ribbon Sushi type venue. Ideally the restaurant would be clean, with normal sized portions of fish, and skewed toward traditional sushi bar as opposed to banana rolls (although a bit of that is fine).

The fish doesn't need to be Masa/Yasude/Bako quality as I'm in the mood for mostly rolls and price is an issue, but it shouldn't be Yama/Monster Sushi quality either.
