Surprisingly good Chinese food in Harrison (NY)

Went to the new Aberdeen sea food and dim sum restaurant in Harrison on Friday night. Was not expecting much, as the previous Chinese restaurant in that spot was horrible. Very pleasantly surprised. There were 2 menus. One had most of the standard Westchester Chinese restaurant dishes. The other had what they called their "must try" dishes, which had many items that you don't see that often outside of Chinatown. We started out with their assorted dim sum appetizer for 2, which consisted of 8 dumplings of 4 different varieties. All were very tasty. For entrees we had 2 off the "must try" menu. The crispy chicken with minced garlic was excellent-- half a deep fried chicken with crispy, but not greasy skin, topped with a light sauce of minced garlic, scallions and soy. We also had oysters with black pepper sauce. The oysters were too large for my taste, but the dish was nicely presented and the sauce was good. I hope that this place does well and maintains the quality as the pickings are pretty slim around town.
