I finally got around to trying Cafe La Palma today. The cafe is located in the back of the grocery store. They serve cafeteria style platters of food with beans and rice, in addition to salvadorean style pupusas and chicken tamales. By the red trays are menus in english.
I ordered two pupusas - one with pork and the other with cheese and beans. They took about 15 minutes to prepare and came with the classic spicy coleslaw and fresh tomato sauce. I thought they were quite good and would return. The supermarket looked worth checking out. They had a nice selection of La Perla tortillas that I noticed.
