Summerlicious wildfire

bob | Jul 12, 2004 09:56 PM

This is the first time I went to this steak and grill and overall I was very disappointed.

The soup I had was a carrot/dill HOT soup veg based. That actually was the best item I had.

The service was quite quick except for dessert which for some stand reason took over 1/2 hour AFTER our main course was taken away. And the resturant was not that busy

The main couse was the lamb shank (ozo buco (sp)) and had little taste (serves me right in ordering a dish like that that they don't normally make and is not the style of the rest (its a stake/BBQ). My wife had the samon and it was 'OK' but the one we had the day before (for the same price) was alot better at YYZ.

The lemon tarte filling was nice and refreshing, BUT the crust was moist instead of firm 'crusty' that you expect with a 'pie shell' and commerical like (was not something i would admit to makeing/serving).

the cholate torte was 'dense' and fairly passible.

OVERALL i don't think i would go back... there are better fish in the sea, so to speak.

2) THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD 15% FOR THE TIP ON ALL Summerlicious DINNERS
