A few suggestions for PDX and vicinity

equinoise | May 20, 201510:12 AM

My family is heading out from SEA for a camping trip to central Oregon. Our route takes us down I-205 to I-84 to 26 (basically avoiding central PDX). Was wondering about the following:

1. A source en route for beer provisions, preferably Oregon nano/local favorites, ideally but not necessarily from more than one brewery. Could be growler fills or cans/bottles. It could be as simple as a Total Wine or non-chain equivalent; a beer-head bottle shop.
2. A good place for a reasonably priced dinner en route. Could be food truck, Mexican, Thai, Middle East, sandwich, etc., pretty much wide open provided high quality.
3. A good OLCC location to purchase tax-free specialty liquor on the return trip (e.g. Chartreuse, maraschino, Lemon Hart). In this case would not mind going toward central PDX if worthwhile.

Thanks very much.
