Suggestions for Bordeaux and San Sebastian for long weekend in March?

bigjppop | Jan 15, 202206:48 AM     4

I've always wanted to visit San Sebastian and am trying to squeeze in a short trip this spring. The dates/times aren't ideal, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We'll be flying in/out of Bordeaux and will arrive on a Sunday (short flight, no jetlag). We're hoping for a great dinner/wine list that first night and then we'll drive to San Sebastian Monday morning. Not a ton of places open on Mondays, but looking at visiting Rekundo for lunch and then a Pinxto crawl for dinner, or maybe doing the reverse. Tuesday will probably be our only big night out and thinking we'd like to try one of the 3-Star places, but don't know where. Wednesday morning we'll drive back to Bordeaux for a noon flight home.

Any suggestions to make the most of these few days?
