Suggestion for easy-to-find replacement for chapati atta flour

charlesherold | Jun 2, 201609:23 AM

After years of not very rigorous experimentation, I determined that the best flour for a good multigrain pancake was half whole wheat and half the chapati atta flour I bought at the Indian grocery nearby. I no longer have an Indian grocery nearby, and I'm wondering if there's an equivalent flour I could use? The package says it's "Durum Wheat Flour & Wheat Bran," which doesn't sound that exotic.

I could buy chapati atta in 10 pound bags (or 2 pound organic bags for about the same price), but that's pricey and I'd really just like to be able to go to the store and buy something. Can someone suggest a rough equivalent that's easy to locate?
