Success story thanks to "chowhounds"

Last month I asked for advice on a spot to take 87 yr old "finicky" dad to dinner in San Francisco. Tonight we (husband, 17 and 24 yr old daughters and I)tried Taddich Grill. We arrived early and were seated at a booth and received terrific service. Menu pleased Dad to no end - his favorite restaurant was the now defunct Iron Horse so I am so pleased we have a new favorite that has something for everyone. We ordered both types of chowder which was delicious and chose entrees of calamari steak,seafood canneloni and seared Opah. Great Irish Coffees too! Delicious and we are all grateful for such great advice!
