Su Casa in Fennville

This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for a long, long, time......anyone who's familiar knows exactly what I'm talking about. Is there anyone on here that can tell me how things are at the new, expanded restaurant? We had a chance to go there ONCE after they finally unlocked the doors on the new restaurant. Service was completely chaotic and slow and the food wasn't QUITE up to usual standards, which rreally wasn't too surprising since it was their first week in their new digs and they were still working out the kinks. i was totally delighted by the addition of the palozallo's gelato stand in the entryway--that helped make up for the crazy wait!

Anyway, since we went so early in the relocation, I don't really consider that to be a representative visit. We live in Kalamazoo and haven't had a chance to go back to SuCasa since that first week that the new location was open. Any shoreline-livers here that can provide a follow-up? Has something essential been lost in removing the restaurant from it's ramshackle former environs? Or is it still the mind-boggling culinary treat that we know and love?

Desperately craving pork tostadas.........
