This is a thread to share your bottom of the barrel recommendations. When you have no choice but eat at a convenience store - what do you get?
I'll start with the Lawson's sandwich that is single-handedly responsible for an extra kilo or two of my love handles. The LチキHot. http://www.lawson.co.jp/recommend/sta...
Grab a small Hawaiian style roll, ask for the hot chicken and add the free karashi-mayo that's provided. The chicken is warm and crispy with a mild but definitely noticeable spicy flavor. The karashi-mayo is from Kewpie. Combine it all with a sweet Hawaiian roll and it's a pretty good sandwich for minimal costs and time.
I haven't tried the cheese version and I've never seen the yuzu chicken before. If you're someone like me or Mr Aso, you might want to grab to chickens for the bun - trust me, they'll fit.
Alternatively, Lawsons also has a pretty good bagged salad when you're sick of oily fried chicken sandos.
Anybody else care to share something good, or at least palatable?
