Street on Polk- good chow

I've haven't seen Street mentioned on this board in the few months since I've been lucky enough to join the SF hounds...

I had gnocchi with sausage and marinara. Housemade sausage, still pink and fresh, redolant with fennel seed. Housemade gnocchi, melts in your mouth, but stands up perfectly to the fork.

Dessert: Vanilla bean buttermilk panna cotta, better than Myth's, served with fresh, housemade pistachio biscotti.

15 reasonable wines by the glass. I ate at the bar so, I can't comment on the service. Over 30, and you might feel old, too loud for pleasant conversation.

However, if your making all the chow frow scratch, the results are better than good, and you keep the prices low enough to attract a crowd that young, your doing all right by me.
