I thoroughly enjoy store bought non-alcoholic eggnog but I’m wondering if I can make my own that would be better. It would have to a recipe that would yield a product that can be left in a refrigerator for several days with no separation or loss of quality, just like the stuff in the cartons. I realize most store bought eggnog has emulsifiers or stabilizers to aid in this task so I’m wondering if such a recipe exists. Also, I don’t want to use liquor in the preparation. If people want alcoholic eggnog they can add it afterwards. I do have a few liquor extracts on hand like rum and bourbon. I would prefer a simple blender recipe. I don’t want to fold in whipped cream or egg whites. Any ideas? Thanks & Happy Holidays!
