Does anyone know of a place where someone can get Parisian steak frite sandwiches in SF? They're steak hache(sp?), basically a hamburger with fries in a roll. I've tried recreating them at home and at restaurants without total success. It's been ten years since I've had one, and I don't remember all the details. I thought the roll was a baguette, but my wife thinks it was a softer roll. Hamburger patty or loose ground beef? Condiments, maybe only mayo?
We do remember that they were delicious.
