I remember the days when we used to ride our Schwinn bikes in Pauoa Valley. There were many starfruit trees, and we used to pick and place them in the basket on the handlebars.

Recently, a friend brought some dried li hing starfruit. It was delicious and reminded me of an old taste treat.

Does anyone know where I might be able to buy either the prepared li hing product, or even just the fruit unaltered? (And you get bonus points if you can recall what we used to call the starfruit.) Thanks.
