Been here a couple of times, in the last few months and very impressed w freshness and quality- They do have a menu, but seems like everyone does the buffet...
One of the few buffets that serves crispy papadum bread, and the naan is frequently replenished...Also one of the few buffets with tandoori chicken...most places on Devon will bring out a sizzling platter to your table with a couple measly pieces, and sneer if you request more!!
The other dishes were awesome as well- Chickem tikka masala was creamy, tender, and loaded w chicken...plenty of other vegetarian options as well..
I still like being up on Devon, because of the authentic character of the neighborhood....but it's nice having a high-quality restaurant closer to home-
PS- I've found it more difficult parking along Devon these days- and they've zoned all the side streets for permit parking,- so it can be a pain to find a spot ( espec at dinner) any suggestions????
Standard on Belmont is about a block and a 1/2 west of Clark Street- a short walk from Red Line El stop- Don't even try to park around here!!
