Restaurants & Bars 6

I recently discovered this board and was impressed with the posts for Sripraphai so went there for lunch today and was extremely pleased. I ordered two entrees and took half of it home for this evenings meal. I ordered Panang curry with beef and Noodles (short & wide) with meat, basil and chili. I live nearby in Jackson Heights so I plan to return often. The waiter gave me the regular printed menu and a picture menu which I thought was interesting. The staff is very pleasant. Walking home, I walked by a recently opened Phillipine Restaurant with an interesting menu and very low prices called Perlas ng Silangan (69-09 Roosevelt Ave). The higest price entree was $7.50 with many under $5.00. The waiter mentioned that when I visit I should try the Krispy Pata. I'll post a review after I visit. Not far from this restaurant I noticed Tibetan Yak (72-20 Roosevelt) which looks promising and plan to visit this place next week. I'm new to Queens and I'm pleased with the wide selection of ethnic restaurants.
