I have half a butternut sqash in my fridge (but it's a huge half), and today at the store I bought a kabocha, a delicatta, and a sweet dumpling.
I'm definitely planning to make a pumpkin-bread type squash bread with some of my squash. But I'm pretty stumped on what to do with the kabocha.
I've been browsing online for recipes and they all seem to use ingredients I don't have. Does anyone have any simple suggestions for my kabocha? I'm thinking maybe I could mix it into polenta maybe? Help! Thanks!
