looking for a spot near warwick hotel (6th Ave and 54th St) and a spot near City Treehouse (6th Ave and 20th St)

Hi all,

my first post!

I'm visiting NYC with the family in a week, we come here every year. Looking for a casual spot near the Warwick hotel for breakfast and another spot nearby for lunch, nothing too expensive, just somewhere to sit down and eat with my 2 kids (1 is 3 yrs old, one is just a toddler and won't be eating).

Last time I was here we wanted to check out the Astro diner nearby, but when we went it was packed and the line went out the door. Hopefully this time we can actually get in. However, does anyone have any other suggestions? We are open to any type of food, as long as it's not expensive and somewhat quick (thus diner is an obvious option).

Also looking for a place for lunch near 6th Ave and 20th St, another inexpensive place we could sit down and have a good meal. Italian/Pizza would be nice, but we welcome any and all other suggestions..

thanks in advance!

Mike
