I was browsing the marinades at Wegman's and saw a bottle of something called speidie. A little google-fu told me that this is a sandwich of pork, chicken or lamb, marinated for 24 hours or so, grilled and served on a french type roll.

It sounds delicious, but I've never had one. Is there a place in the Baltimore area that makes speidies? Or are they entirely confined to NY? I'm dying to eat one.
