It's a really basic mung bean dhal with onion, cumin, coriander, ginger, garlic and whatever else you feel like throwing in. Sometimes it's amazing, but this time I got sloppy and it just doesn't taste very good. I added 1 tsp of garam masala in addition to the cumin and coriander and some tumeric. It's too salty and overly spiced, but the flavors didn't come together. Any tips on how to salvage?
