Spent about 20 minutes perusing old threads on best Southern cooking books here and didn't find just the thing, hence the new post.
Background: I'm on a special needs parenting FB group and this question came up. 14 year old with high anxiety/germophobia is taking comfort during quarantine by cooking Southern food. The OP is looking for a birthday present for the kiddo. He's apparently not a big fan of reading but loves to cook.
I figured if any group could help find the perfect cookbook or cooking gadget ... it's this one.
Thanks in advance!
