Soup cart at Broad and Beaver Streets

I ran across a new (?) soup cart on the corner of Broad and Beaver Streets today. A very nice (and cold) man offers something like 8 or 10 soups and a fresh, warm roll at $3 for 12 oz and $3.75 for 16 oz. I had the chicken and dumplings soup, which was quite good. Thickened broth that had good chicken flavor and just the right amount of pepper. The dumplings are doughy (but not too heavy) and maybe an inch in diameter. A little light on the chunks of chicken and carrots, but overall flavorful and a good value. Other people were getting chicken gumbo, NE clam chowder and a lobster bisque ($1 extra). I'll be back to try it again.
