As part of our local brewery bounce, we wanted to visit Soul Brewery on Wheeler Ave. in Pleasantville. They had closed down for a time. I hear that they originally opened in mid-March, the very day Covid lockdowns took effect in Westchester. Bad timing, to say the least. Anyway, they did reopen on 8/27 and we arrived at 4 p.m. They are currently sharing outdoor space on Wheeler Ave. and there is distanced seating indoors. It was a warm afternoon, so we took a table inside. Our amiable hostess Montana brought us two nice IPAs: El Tropicale & Truth Serum. A bag of Bjorn Qorn was a good nibble. As an aside: while we were there my facemask came apart. Montana, our barkeep, noticed and offered me another from a box they had behind the bar. I thought that was very nice, indeed...
