Sompun--almost famous?

Went to Sompun on Santa Monica Blvd. in Silverlake recently and had a super yummy dish called Indian noodles. There are two versions--we got the one where you add fried noodles to the dish. It's full of
extremely fatty & flavorful beef (you can't get this beef-free) and wonderful Indian spices. We were enjoying ourselves & making a mess with the extra noodles and the thick sauce, when the waiter (owner?) told us that this dish would soon be featured in *Maxim* magazine as one of the best dishes in LA. I had him repeat the name of the magazine, to make sure it really was Maxim!! I'm afraid to see what kind of guys show up at Sompun after this is published.
