This very large restaurant just north of Richmond was absolutely packed when we got there. Egads, was this bad, bad BBQ. The sliced pork was gray and dry (how long ago was it sliced?), the ribs doused in an insipid sauce. The chopped was dry. Hard to believe it was chopped to order. Despite an alluring smell of smoked wood outside, none of this smoke was imparted to the 'cue.
Sides of red potatoes were good, as was the refreshing baked apple, not sweet. But the gooey cole slaw was drowned in mayo. Do the people here have injured tastebuds?
