Can I make smoked salmon pasta ahead?

I am going to make the smoked salmon pasta from the wonderful blog, The Traveler's Lunchbox: http://www.travelerslunchbox.com/jour..., but I need to make it several hours ahead. Melissa notes that it doesn't reheat well and should be eaten right away because the sauce ends up kind of dry, but do you have suggestions for how I can make it be creamy and delicious even hours later?
