Is a slow cooker still needed if we have a rice cooker?

SamCurt | Feb 4, 201505:35 PM

I am moving in a month, and at almost the same time my rice cooker expired and a fine crack developed on my slow cooker insert. While I was thinking about replacing both of them, I realized since rice cookers can double as a slow cooker, is it possible to just replace the rice cooker, since I use the rice cooker more frequently anyway?

Also, I would like recommendations for any 10-cup rice cookers (or similar multifunctionals) below $100.

Thanks for the reply in advance!
