Little Sichuan Express in Fremont/ Union City

I just went for lunch and really by accident as I drove by it on my way to Fortune Garden. Instead I dediced to give it a try as I like Little Sichuan in San Mateo.
The format is totally different here. Paper plates and styrofoam cups. And while I'm usually with 10+ people everytime I go to the San Mateo one, I was by myself this time and couldn't really order banquet style.
I ordered a pork chop noodle soup. I was expecting the usual Taiwanese style breaded cutlet, but instead found myself faced with a bowl of chop-stick tender, small pork rib pieces. The ribs have been slow braided. And the broth... the broth was rich, savory, slightly spicey, and transluescent golden, almost auburn in colour. It wasn't particular anise-y in flavour like i might expect of something red-cooked. The noodles themselves were just okay and a tad limp. And there was genereous helping of a vegetable in it that I can only describe as a cross between a pea-shoot and kung-hisng-tsai (sp?). As I have never ordered a noodle soup at the San Mateo branch, I can't compare. But this bowl made me forget about any beef noodle soup craving I had. They did have a beef noodle soup there too, but the waiteress said it was heavy o nthe tendon side, and I am not fan of tendon.
Has anyone else tried this place?
