Am about to make a dish using these which I bought about 2 weeks ago,and then forgot that they were in the fridge. A friend who cooked in a restaurant told me that the restaurant would hold on to them for a month, and that they'd be OK. They look somewhat browner than they did when I bought them, and have a tiny bit of moisture from storage. Are they really safe to add in a braised dish, or should I throw them out? What are the signs that let you know if they are gone? I don't know what the storage life is for any mushrooms. Thanks.
