With visions of dumplings dancing in a steamer, we ordered the set lunch/dinner for two persons for $18.88: Two bowls of chicken won ton soup, 4- XLB dumplings, Sweet vinegar spareribs, Cold chicken noodles, and Drunken chicken.
Chicken Won Ton soup: rich broth with bok choy, bean curd knot, won ton, and a flavorful chunk of a chicken leg
XLB dumplings: tender wrap filled with savory filling and hot broth
Sweet vinegar spareribs: each small chopped sparerib braised with dark rich sauce
Cold chicken noodles: bowlful of shredded chicken, cucumber, tomato and noodles with a peanut dressing
Drunken chicken: tender and wine-inebriated
and then we ordered more—
XLB dumplings (10) for $4.95
Sweet Soy Bean Milk for $0.95
Savory Soy Bean Milk for $0.95
Crispy Fried Eel for $10.95
Chow thick rice noodles (was this the rice cake dish with shredded pork?)
Total per person: $14.50
We are eating well! Let the holiday feasting continue well into the next year!
