SGV: Open/Closing round up, odds & ends, etc.

Saturday (3/21) Bake Code opened in Focus Plaza, San Gabriel. Their first U.S. outlet

2188 Spicy Shrimp also opened Saturday in the former Hunan's/Hunan Style in SG.

The former Yunnan 168 had work going on with signage in English of Chengdu Pot Franchise Holdings.

Kai Ramen has opened in Alhambra's ever-changing Valley Square. It's next to New Noodle Guy. Even I can't recall what it replaces (calling Chandavkl).

I've wound up in the RH/HH/CoI area far more this year than the WSGV and over there...

Duke Bakery (see separate thread) opened in Diamond Plaza in RH on Sunday. Their first U.S. outlet.

The former sushi place in Diamond Plaza had work going on inside, no clue as to what is next.

Cube Cafe and Bakery will become the Rowland Heights location of Bake Code.

Last and least, a couple doors down from Easy Earthen, next to Tea Light Kitchen in the plaza on the NE corner of Fullerton & Colima, there was a "coming soon" sign.

I'm sure much of this is old news and I'm sure I've forgotten more, but the long drive back home knocks it out of my head :)
