I know, this is a bit of a last minute posting, but I don't recall seeing any other postings on the topic. Tonight at the Castro Theater, the San Francisco Professional Food Society is having an event called Reel Food. Joey Altman and Kerry Heffernan will be critiquing some food movies and then there will be showings of "Our Lady of Tamales" and "Cat's in the Kitchen". Following that is an optional hors d'oeuvre tasting, including Virginia Ramos' tamales.
