Seven-Seventeen On V-DAy

A-Train | Feb 19, 2004 09:04 AM

One of the worst dining experiences of my life occurred at Seven-Seventeen on V-Day. Most of us go into V-Day at least expecting it to be busy and willing to deal with most delays in regards to food and service. But this was horrible, esp since they had a set menu and that should have speeded things up somewhat. our 9pm reservation was pushed back too 9:45pm. from their it took 50 minutes to get our appetizers, another 45 minutes to get a salad that was lukewarm from sitting out for so long. and then finally getting our main course at around 11:45pm, we asked for our deserts to go because I didn't want to put my date through another 40 minutes of waiting. Never did a manager come by and tell us they were behind, see how we were doing, or show any care for our patronage at all. The food was a bit above average, but not worth this ordeal.
