Sunday we had lunch at Souplantation in Marina Del Rey. The cashier was a young 20 something female. When she rang up our bill it seemed a bit cheaper than usual and when we sat down we saw that we had been given a Senior Discount. I am 48 years old. Do you think that a restaurant should leave this to the discretion of the cashier or do you think that the discount should only be given when the customer requests 2 seniors? This issue has disturbed many of my wife's friends. I personally figure a discount is a discount. What do you think? By the way, The Chinese Chicken Salad, Tuna with Pasta Salad, and Clam Chowder (add bacon bits and Tobasco) were really good.
