My newly arrived Caja China is itching to be fired up this weekend and I am looking for a source for a full-size (70-100 lbs) pig. The roaster is in residence at a friend's place in Nolita, so the closer the butcher the better. I have a couple sources I have used for suckling pigs in the East Village or in Williamsburg, but nothing in this neighborhood yet.
Also, I was wondering, do any of the vendors from the Union Square Green Market do special orders. If there were one that could get me a free-range pig, that would be ideal.
