Secrets to easy kitchen cleaning?

JetLaggedChef | Feb 11, 201509:59 PM     52

What're some of your secrets to easy kitchen cleaning? For example:

- I've never found a better way to keep counters/stove etc clean than having a sink full of hot soapy dish water with Dawn dishwashing liquid (no other brand cuts through grease as well).
- I love the Method brand of all-purpose cleaner from Target. It's fairly streak free and Cook's Illustrated gave it the highest rating for actually killing bacteria.
- About every 6 months, I use denatured alcohol to clean my stainless steel appliances, then use car wax on them. Takes about 5 minutes per appliance and I get a good 6 months of zero water spots or finger prints on them.
- Cheap denture tablets work great for getting out coffee stains from pots or the basket from espresso machines.

Skip the baking soda and vinegar cleaning suggestions - I think everyone has already heard them.
