Seattle eaters staying in Surprise, AZ -- what's good?

scarequotes | Nov 30, 200511:45 PM     8

We're visiting from Seattle and going to be staying with my mother-in-law for five days next week. She lives in Surprise, Arizona.

We'd like to know some good restaurants, especially for breakfast and dinner.

Important things to know:
1) We have a car. I understand Phoenix is huge and the good chow places are spread out, so we're willing to do some driving.

2) We have an infant. The 2-month-old is the reason for the visit. We may get one evening of babysitting from grandma, but otherwise restaurants will need to be baby-friendly.

3) We're not terribly picky about cuisines. If it's good, we'll eat it.

Recommendations would be most appreciated, the closer to Surprise the better.
