My husband and I are sashimi fans and spend a fortune on Japanese Restaurants. One of our favorites is Ray's Sushi in Hayward. However, while I the East Coast, we went to a hugh Japanese Supermarket and purchased a large piece of Hamachi for just $7. We would have spent close to $20 in any restaurant. ARe there any Japanese speciality markets preferably in the East Bay that sell sashimi? Needs to be a quality place with very fresh products.
