Seafood, I'm sure it's been posted to death, but

.........I am wondering about the Norwalk/Westport/Fairfield area, so far as seafood goes. The posts I found were a little old, so I hope for a refresher on the subject.

I have been to Tavern on Maine, and found an old seafood post that called it a scene. I thought their clam chowder was spectacular, and I had grilled salmon that was amazing. The service was mediocre at best, but it was a very cold day and we sat right by the fire and it was very cozy.
I recently went to Black Rock Oyster house and was pleasantly surprised. Great service, excellent oysters and clams on the halfshell (wondrful selection) and really tender and flavorful fried oysters. Pretty good clam chowder too. I went back a second time and it was just as good as the first.

I'm curious about Conte's in Westport, and the Mansion. I haven't heard too much.

I heard there's a place in Rowayten that is supposed to be spectacular.
