Sea Flame Restaurant has opened on White Plains Road at the Vernon Hills Shops across from Lord & Taylor in Scarsdale. The name is a riff on the iconic surf & turf, and the menu offers a wide selection of seafood and big cuts of beef. Stopped in for happy hour and was presented with several menus offering reasonable priced dishes and cocktails. The 120-seat space is eclectic: coral themed walls, gold fish ornaments, and contemporary lighting fixtures. There is a long bar. The space had previously housed the Bagel Café. The current menu serves house made Crab Cakes and a big Tomahawk Steak. We went for a platter of Fried Calamari which came with sides of marinara and hot aioli sauces. It was very tasty. No website at this time. Will be back for more...
