I am making dinner for 4 this weekend and I think I have decided on making Adobo Chicken (which I have made once before with very good results). I had narrowed it down to that or lasagne but I never get absolutely great results with lasagne. hence my decision. I'd rather serve a good version of somethig my guests might never have had than a mediocre version of something most people have had numerous times.
The question is how do I round out the meal?
Last time I served it with brown rice. I guess I can do the same this time or I can do a Rice Medley I got at Trader Joe's which i think is basmati, brown and wild rices (haven't tried it yet).
I was thinking of some sort of green beans as the vegetable. Does anyone have any recommendations that you think would go well with the chicken?
I believe I will be making individual apple pies for dessert.
